The Statistical Office in Wrocław presents the next edition of the „Labour market in Dolnośląskie Voivodship in 2017”, in which detailed information on working persons, unemployed persons, wages and salaries as well as working conditions and accidents at work in 2017 were presented in a broad perspective .
The publication so far published in the publication series of „Information and statistical studies”, appears for the first time in the series „Statistical analyses”. This affected the nature of the study, which provides not only information, but also contains numerous assessments of the processes taking place. The basis for the assessments is the broad European background, the use of new approaches and cross-sections of data, and, among others, typological studies of employment structures in powiats.
Most phenomena are depicted in charts and cartograms. They concern, on the one hand, information by powiats, and on the other, by voivodships, which makes it possible to compare basic data with reference to other voivodships as well as to Poland.
The analytical approach also differs from the informational one in limiting the scope of tabular formats in the text of the publication. Despite the ease of access to the electronic databases of the Central Statistical Office, the set of basic and detailed information on the Lower Silesian labour market, including the division by sub-regions, powiats and gminas, was not abandoned.
