We give you the publication Environmental protection and forestry in Dolnośląskie Voivodship in 2013-2016, which is another collective publication on ecology, issued on a four-year cycle. The study contains a number of information describing the state of the natural environment and the processes occurring in it. For the first time, the publication appears in the Polish-English version.
The publication is initiated by review tables, which present, among others: more important data on the state, threat and protection of the environment in 2010, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 in the Lower Silesian Voivodship, more important data on the background of the country and voivodships, and by subregions and powiats in 2016. Detailed statistical data are grouped in 8 thematic sections, which are preceded by general and methodological notes including a discussion of the scope, sources and principles of data grouping, research methods and their organization, as well as more important concepts, definitions and interpretations of statistical values and indicators contained in the publication. The tabular part is also preceded by the analysis of selected aspects of the condition and protection of environment in the voivodship. Selected phenomena are illustrated in graphs. Having regard to the significant ecological and social function of forests, the publication presents a wide range of data on the characteristics of forest resource, as well as threats and protection of the forest environment.
