We are pleased to present the latest edition of the publication giving a wide set of data on activities of schools as well as other education care centres running educational activity at pre-primary, primary, lower secondary and post-secondary as well as tertiary level in the Lower Silesian voivodship in school years 2010/2011 – 2012/2013.
The publication consists of methodological notes, a synthetic description of study results as well as a tabular part. The methodological notes contain a description of the educational system organization and basic terms and definitions used in the tables. The descriptive part, which was enriched in charts and cartograms, show the current state and changes taking place in education in the voivodship. The tabular part is preceded by review tables in a flashback perspective for years 2005/2006 – 2012/2013. The basic information was also presented in a section of subregions, powiats and gminas.
The statistical data featured in the publication for the school year 2012/2013 and for the previous two years were drawn up on the basis of information gathered by the Ministry of National Education within the frames of the system of educational information, whereas the data form 2006/2007 and earlier come from surveys conducted by the Central Statistical Office in the form of annual reporting of schools and other educational centres.
