Long-term analysis of the phenomena occurring in the national economy in the voivodeship and presentation of their internal diversity in terms of phenomena significant from the point of view of socio-economic development, i.e. human capital (including demographic processes and labor resources), the quality of life of residents, the economy, taking into account the processes related to the development of entrepreneurship, implementation of investments, production and services, infrastructure of the economy, public finances, environmental protection. The categories are presented dynamically (in a long-term retrospection), as well as in relation to the average values ​​for the country. The statistical analysis, which is thematically consistent for all voivodeships, includes the presentation of phenomena also in a graphic form - with the use of maps and charts.

Main data and basic indices characterising socio-economic situation of the voivodship, e.g. related to the labour market and wages, prices, corporate finance and investments, agriculture, industry, construction and trade. Basic information on the socio-economic characteristics of situation of the city Wrocław with respect to, among others, labour market, salaries, entities of the national economy, finances, industry and construction, tourism, trade and public safety.
